John is a popular minister, author, and teacher. Along the way, his life has been filled with adventures from working undercover in Berlin during the Cold War, to serving as a mountain guide in Bavaria, scuba diving, skiing, soaring, backpacking, cave exploring, kayaking and sailing. He has degrees from Columbia Christian College and Pepperdine University.
John and his wife Jan live in Decatur, Illinois where he ministers with the Sunnyside Road Church of Christ.
